First Woman to lead an all-male field force in the British Army

At the age of 33, Major Judith Webb was the first woman to command an all male field force unit in the British Army in 1982. In 1986 Judith became the head of Rossholme School, Somerset and has since been instrumental in setting up and supporting a new Rossholme School in a Nairobi slum, Kenya. She has maintained a high profile promoting the widening roles of women across the Armed Forces.
