First Woman to be made a Member of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths

Michelle J. Parker FWCB is the first female professional working blacksmith to be appointed as a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths, in their 700 year history. She exhibits at Royal Horticultural Society shows and has contributed sculptures to several gold medal winning gardens at RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Michelle was appointed as the first female liveryman in 2008. Women have only been allowed to join the Worshipful Company since 2004.
