Biography

 

First Woman to row across the Atlantic with her Mother, Sarah Kettle

An ocean rower, adventurer, speaker and author, Sally Kettle was not only the first woman to row across the Atlantic twice from east to west but she made one of those historic crossings with her mother. Aged 26, Sally and her mother Sarah made the crossing whilst competing in The Ocean Rowing Society Atlantic Rowing Regatta in 2004. It took them 106 days to journey the 3000 miles on a 23ft marine plywood boat.
