
First Woman to win the Mongol Derby

In 2013 Prior-Palmer was the first and so far only female Briton to win the Mongol Derby, the world’s longest – and arguably toughest horse race. Competitors ride a team of unfamiliar horses over 1000km wilderness for ten days. The competition has run since 2009 and Prior-Palmer achieved her first aged only 19 years old.
